Kanat Balykbaev, Director General of the RSE on the REM "National Center of Expertise", CPPH of the MH of the RK and Anuar Yelzhanov, director of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan LLP Halal Damu, signed a memorandum of cooperation in improving the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population and public health protection.

The parties envisaged interactions in the development and launch of innovative domestic products on the market, improving the quality of halal products, the exchange of experience and other activities in the field of halal industry.

During the meeting, Kanat Balykbaev spoke about the activities of the Center, about the fact that in each region there are laboratories where you can check the compliance of the studied products with the requirements for their quality and manufacturing technology presented by various regulatory documents.

“The examination of food products is becoming especially relevant in the light of the modern development of the chemical industry and the market for cheap substitutes for traditional products. The work of our specialists is focused on finding results so that products presented on store shelves do not pose a danger to the environment or to the population, ”added the Director General of NCE.

For his part, the director of the SAMK, Halal Damu LLP Anuar Elzhanov noted the importance of bilateral partnership and expressed hope that the memorandum will contribute to the further development of halal products.

In the framework of the upcoming cooperation, it is planned to conduct laboratory studies to identify the identification of animal tissue in meat and meat food products, to identify the content of genetically modified sources (GMI) in food products, as well as checking soft drinks for compliance with current legislation.

Recall, Halal standards apply to meat, fish, dairy, egg products, cereals, pasta, bakery products, fruits and vegetables, sugar, confectionery, drinks, honey, dietary supplements, food additives, baby food, cosmetics and perfumes , medicines, packaging material, household chemicals.
